Futuro d'Arte è un piccolo laboratorio artigianale di ceramica conemporanea a conduzione familiare che ha sede in uno storico palazzo ottocenteco, già sede di un vecchio forno del pane, ristrutturato all'inizio del Novecento nel centro storico di Sigillo, nell'alta Umbria, nel cuore del parco naturale del monte Cucco.
In una continua, appassionata ricerca tecnica e formale, abbinando sapienza tradizionale e sperimentazione più spinta, in un endiadi inscindibile di arte e vita, Catia e Roberto, moglie e marito, sono giunti nel tempo a giocare in modo confidenziale con la materia e creare oggetti unici e originali, interamente fatti a mano, senza ausilio di stampi o matrici, pulsanti di vita e raffinata ironia, in cui ogni fase della realizzazione, dall'ideazione, alla modellazione, alla biscottatura (prima cottura), alla decorazione, con colori appositamente creati, alla seconda cottura finale, viene personalmente e accuratamente curata.
I pesci si vestono di forme strane, bizzarre a volte buffe, altre raffinate, dai colori squillanti, e diventano presenze individuali e caratterizzate. Mentre i personaggi e i bagnanti sono rielaborazioni ironiche e riflessioni sui tipi, sui difetti e sugli atteggiamenti delle persone in spiaggia o nelle circostanze quotidiane, le teste si mostrano come raffinata materializzazione di pensieri intellettuali.
Ceramiche in grado di raccontare una storia, di emozionare e trasmettere bellezza, in una contaminazione di arte, design e artigianato, che sono riuscite ad affermarsi come eccellenza artistica, autenticamente made in Italy, e conquistare, oltre ad importanti mercati nelle più belle località balneari italiane, mercati internazionali quali Giappone, Libano, Olanda, Francia, Svizzera, Stati Uniti. Un risultato certamente non casuale per Catia e Roberto, ma frutto di una pervicace passione nel fare al meglio il proprio lavoro e di un continuo impegno creativo, anche partecipando a fiere internazionali come Homi Milano, in seno alla quale nel 2016 sono stati scelti da Anna del Gatto per la mostra La magnifica forma come rappresentativi del migliore made in Italy.

Futuro d'Arte is a small family-run contemporary artisan workshop which is housed in a historic 19th century building, formerly the site of an old bread oven, renovated at the beginning of the twentieth century in the historic center of Sigillo, in upper Umbria, in the heart of the Monte Cucco natural park.
In a continuous, passionate technical and formal research, combining traditional wisdom and more intense experimentation, in an osmosis of art and life, Catia and Roberto, wife and husband, have succeeded by time to play confidentially with the material and create unique and original, entirely handmade objects, without the aid of molds or dies ; works of art full of life and refined irony, in which each phase of the realization, from conception, modeling, biscuit (first baking), to decoration, with colors specially created, at the second final cooking, is personally and carefully cured.
The fish are dressed in strange, bizarre at times funny, other refined shapes, with bright colors, and become individual and characterized presences. While the characters and swimmers are ironic reworkings and reflections on the types, defects and attitudes of people on the beach or in everyday circumstances, the heads show themselves as refined materialization of intellectual thoughts.
Ceramics able to tell a story, to excite and transmit beauty, in a contamination of art, design and craftsmanship, which have managed to establish themselves as artistic excellence, authentically made in Italy, and conquer, as well as important markets in the most beautiful Italian seaside resorts, international markets such as Japan, Lebanon, Holland, France, Switzerland and the United States. A certainly not accidental result for Catia and Roberto, but the result of a persistent passion in making the best of their work and a continuous creative commitment, also participating in international fairs such as Homi Milano, in which in 2016 they were chosen by Anna del Cat for the exhibition «The magnificent shape» as representative of the best made in Italy.
